It's a fact -- your site visitors will ask the same question almost every single time they visit your Web site, "How do I know I can trust this Website?" The greatest fear facing online consumers today is who they can trust on the Web. Many of them are still uncomfortable with the online transaction process. A great majority are especially concerned about whether or not they can trust the faces behind the millions of sites on the Web for fear that the one they decide to trust is a fraudulent one.

How do I know I can trust this Website?

In a recent survey conducted by Guardian eCommerce, 92% of online consumers surveyed would prefer transacting with an Internet business that is clearly trustworthy and verified as one that is committed to online safety and privacy protection of consumers. They want to click with confidence! Many yearn for the worry-free ability to spend their money in the comfort of their own home and on the Web, but in a manner where their online transactions are conducted in a safe, secure, and private manner. The survey conducted basically verified an already known truth. Verified site credibility and trust was the obvious key to achieve the confidence and assurance required to transact online with an Internet business!

In the very same survey, 86% of those consumers surveyed confirmed the importance of site credibility and trust verified by a trusted and proven third party site verifier. Simply put, these consumers concluded they would NOT transact with a Website that failed to be verified for site credibility and trust. Clearly, the greater Internet community is fully aware that there are a large number of Websites functioning strictly for malicious gain. Such sites prey on the innocent for financial gain. It's impossible to identify every Web site engaged in fraud.

Trust websites that are faithful as dogs

At the same time, countless millions worldwide rely on the Internet for many goods and services, and the number of Internet users engaged in online transactions are growing at an astronomical rate. Who is capitalizing on this fact? Which Internet business stands to gain from this truth? Is your Internet business missing the proverbial boat and failing to capture sales from those online customers that indeed want to spend their money -- but they are unsure of your Website?

Certainly there are those minority Internet business owners who have built their Internet business based on good reputation and word of mouth, running legit and trustworthy Websites. In such cases, online consumer assurance has been achieved and is easily maintained. Then there are those majority Websites smart enough to gain site credibility and trust simply by being verified by a widely accepted non-objective third party site verification program. Both ways, these Websites are on the road to online success. In order to increase online sales, increase site credibility because it's a simple concept really--site credibility pays.

E-Commerce

But there are still many that feel threatened by the evolving dangers of engaging in e-commerce and online transactions today. Consumer online privacy and safety needs are growing rapidly! What steps can you take to increase online sales instead of being plagued by wrongful skepticism tainting your customers? A third party site verification program membership is an important and affordable Internet business solution essential to help increase online sales. Customers will buy often from an Internet business they can trust. Third party site verification helps build that bond of trust between Internet business owners and their online customers. It's proven, site credibility does pay.

Consumers need an assurance that your Website is a trustworthy one. Some even want insurance in case of an unresolved conflict with your Website, which is why a consumer protection warranty offers piece of mind for your online customers.
