Re: 301 redirect and 302 redirects

Hi Profitimo..I guess it's not your name... :D ..From search engine perspective, 301 redirect is best. 301 is permanent redirection that suggests the serach engine that the this is the new domain where the old domain is permanently shifted. No future changes will be made. By doing that, the domain value is transfered to the new one. The page rank is slightly interrupted but your site are able to retain the same webpage page rank in a span of few months. But 302 redirection is temporari redirection. If this redirection is continued for a long time, the page rank and domain value is very badly affected!!! Hope you get it..Thanks!!

Re: 301 redirect and 302 redirects

The method to redirect your newly found domain name to your old web address (your existing domain name). The “safe” way to do this is by using what is called in the industry a “301 Redirect ”.In 302 redirct we add domain names and then perform some redirects that are programmed to “switch” one domain name to another using what is called a "302 Temporarily Moved" redirect
